In the last 10 years, I have visited tantra providers from coast to coast across the U.S., from Berkeley to San Francisco to Los Angeles to Scottsdale, Ariz., Manhattan, Austin, Philadelphia, Boston, Orlando and Milwaukee. Every practitioner described and shared their tantra teachings in different ways. I've been massaged, coached, touched, thrilled and occasionally enlightened. I've shared everything in person from eye gazing, delicate touch, electrical "connections" and deep breathing with the good practitioners to emptiness and longing with the not-so-good tantrikas. It's been a mixed bag, and I've accepted that, though I continue to strive to find someone to share tantra with who truly "gets it."

That's when I found Sherry. She lives three hours away, so I wasn't able to visit her immediately. Not knowing truly how it would go, I arranged a one hour phone tantra session. I felt over a phone line, an intensity that was brought about by Sherry's warmth, caring, heat, sensuality and realness.

That's when I also realized that it was truly magical. I had just shared with Sherry a time that was so incredible, so engaging, so passionate and warm. What made it more amazing was that this hour long session over the phone was more intense, pleasurable, educational and powerful than many of the tantric sessions I had experienced in real-life over the last 10 years. I was surprised. I was taken aback. I was mesmerized. I was thankful and happy. It was an amazing session and I look forward to connecting with Sherry in person in her Maryland studio as soon as possible this spring. Her light, her warmth, her experience and her energy transcended the miles and I know that I will be truly connected with Sherry for a very long time. Thank you, dear Sherry, for an amazing and wonderful experience.
